revit house: 3d model & drawings
COURSE: ARTI 307 REVIT FOR INTERIOR DESIGNERS DATE: JAN-APRIL 2024
single family residence
single family residence
This project marked my first introduction to Revit, bridging the gap between conceptual design and technical execution. In this third-year, first-semester course, we revisited a single-family home design originally created in first year, using it as a foundation to explore digital modeling, documentation, and parametric design within Revit.
The transition from hand-drawn plans and SketchUp models to a BIM-based workflow provided a deeper understanding of construction detailing, material applications, and spatial organization. Through this process, I refined my ability to translate design intent into a fully realized digital model, integrating structural components, building systems, and precise documentation.
