OFFICE DESIGN

This project was developed as part of my SECOND YEAR studio focus on office design, exploring how workplaces function as adaptive ecosystems rather than static layouts. PULSE MEDIA’s new Yaletown office reimagines the modern workspace as a dynamic system—where spatial fluidity, material contrast, and environmental cues shape both collaboration and individual focus.

CONCEPT

The design embraces Eco-industrial Sophistication by merging raw, industrial materials with organic forms. Abstract brick and wire partitions delineate zones without rigid enclosures, allowing for light permeability and a sense of openness. Radial planning principles define spatial organization, encouraging movement while strategically positioning semi-private enclaves for moments of retreat. Inspired by Vancouver’s juxtaposition of natural landscapes and urban density, the space balances warmth with structure, integrating natural hues, organic shapes, and industrial textures.
